16×16 optical Crossing matrix chip with 15,408 basic elements was successfully prepared by using 3D optical through-hole technology to realize themapping of space matrix vector multiplier to plane. Compared with the traditional scheme, the optical crossing matrix
chip has a significant improvement in loss and crosstalk and other
related indicators. The single optical through-hole loss is <0.015dB,
the waveguide transmission loss is <0.01dB/ cm-@1550nm, waveguide interlaminar crosstalk <0.01dB, and the overall loss is less than 1.5dB, reaching the international advanced level.
